Walking On Thin Ice

Climate Change Art

This artwork brings attention to the diverse, fragile environment of Northern Canada. ‘Walking On Thin Ice’ was designed and created by Gary and Marie Crosby. Hand-carved and hand-painted, and the 4th climate change art created by us and it will not be the last. It is as you see it. Chimo!

Specifications: The water is made from light blue resin. The Polar Bear and the ice burg are carved from white poplar wood with the Orca background painted in acrylic. We used three mediums, woodcarving resin art and painting, to create this unique work of art and truly one-of-a-kind.

Size Width: 14.5 inches or 36.8 cm Hight: 23 inches or 58.4 cm Thickness of the resin: 1 inch or 2.55 cm Thickness of the carving: 3.5 inches or 8.9 cm Weight 5 kg
